Elia Elsalam, Chairman of EGC Construction, officially launching the construction of Baron Island Sahl Hasheesh and Baron Eclipse Sahl Hasheesh, two iconic developments that will shape the future of luxury hospitality on the Red Sea.

This milestone signals the start of an ambitious five-phase expansion strategy that will elevate our portfolio in the Red Sea and Sahl Hasheesh area from 650 rooms to more than 3,000 rooms, further affirming Baron Hotels & Resorts as a distinguished leader in the hospitality landscape.
Our relationship with EGC Construction is built on a legacy of excellence. EGC’s first collaboration with Baron Hotels & Resorts began with the development of Baron Resort Sharm El Sheikh, a project that marked Eng. Elia’s entry into hotel construction in 1995. Today, 30 years later, we proudly continue this partnership with renewed ambition and an initial investment of 182 million EGP dedicated to the first phase of development.
Baron Island Sahl Hasheesh represents the foundation of a transformative journey. The next milestone, Baron Eclipse, will commence construction this December, reinforcing our long-term vision for expansion, innovation, and unmatched guest experiences.
